Hi Abhinav,
The text files in the auditing directory ARE the buffers.
These get pushed to the database in a sequential manner.
If you reduced the ads cleanup value from 36500 to 800 days, this effect will take place on your auditing data source directly.
It doesn't affect the buffer files.
The ADS cleanup does not impact the buffer files (txt files in the Auditing folder). They get created when an event is written to buffer and automatically removed when the buffer is emptied out to the database.
