We are starting to use Registered Products to track serialized product shipments to our customers. Creating new Registered Products is manageable for our low volume products but is not realistic for our high volume products.
We have customers who may purchase hundreds or thousands of serialized products in a single order. We don't want to scan our S/N from the product to create a record in the Registered Products area. Ideally, we would have an upload tool that would allow us to create dozens, hundreds or thousands of registered products from a flat file.
Has anyone done high volume Registered Products creation regardless of how tedious it might be?
Has anyone found a workaround (ie attaching a printout of the flat file to the Outbound Delivery)?
Are there custom solutions that anyone has created that might be portable to another ByD customer?
